Cloud & DevOps Engineer

The Role

As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer at Hiyv, you build and run the Azure platforms our enterprise customers depend on. You define infrastructure as code, automate delivery pipelines and keep Kubernetes workloads healthy and observable in production.

You work in long-running enterprise projects, alongside engineers, architects and customer stakeholders. You own your part of the platform end to end and help shape how the team works, including how we use AI in our daily engineering.

What you will do

Azure infrastructure

• Build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure for enterprise customers

• Define and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or Bicep

• Apply best practices and make sound technical decisions in your area
  

CI/CD and automation

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub

• Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and Bash

• Replace manual steps with repeatable, documented processes
  

Kubernetes

• Deploy and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters

• Keep workloads stable, secure and up to date
  

Monitoring and operations

• Monitor systems with Azure Monitor and Application Insights

• Spot issues early and work with colleagues and customers to resolve them
  

Collaboration and continuous improvement

• Share knowledge within the team and with customer teams

• Use AI tools responsibly to improve how you and the team work

• Contribute to wider topics such as reference architectures and AI guidelines
  

What are we looking for:

Must-have

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps or platform engineering

• Hands-on experience building and running Azure infrastructure

• Infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or Bicep

• CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub

• Deploying and operating AKS clusters

• Scripting in PowerShell and Bash

• Monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights

• Fluent English for project and customer communication

Location

The role is based in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is a full-time position with a hybrid working model.
